Layout - Stagecoach

FINALY, I'm done my stagecoach... first assignment in my life that I didn't finish by the deadline... But unfortunately, this thing couldn't be rushed, so I had to take some extra time to finish it right.

Here it is - the hard grueling problem that is the stagecoach.

Animation - My MONEY - Part 1 (Animal Lip Sync)

More craziness animation. Still pencil on paper - done in a very short amount of time. I finished this at 3 am... so I seem some things already that I want to fix. This is an animal lip sync assignment -  first a snout animal, then a beak. My scene, when it's done, will have a pigeon in it, as the other character. I'll be working on him shortly and I'll post the update.

The audio clip is taken from "The Sting" which starred Robert Redford and Paul Newman - in their glorious prime. Love this film. So I had fun using this line.

So for now, Part 1 of "My Money"!

Pinups - Bridesmaids!

So here is one of the reason's I've been struggling like crazy to finish all my projects for the last two weeks. I got a lovely but GIANT commission to do a bridal party - all of the bride's friends as pinups... and only two weeks in which to do it.

They were all very cute and distinct ladies, so even though I'm exhausted, and running on very little sleep, it was worth it!

Life Drawing - Centaurs

Had fun in life drawing today! Got to draw centaurs! Top part from the model, bottom part (the horse part) from imagination! :)

Character Design - Western

Here is my Character Design project - themed to a Western. I really had to rush this towards the end... I wish I had time to add color and to clean up the individual character sheets. But oh well! It is what it is. I'm happy with how my lineup turned out though! :)

Caricatures - For Raine

This is my first male caricature in the style of my pinups! It took me some time to figure it out, but I'm happy with the result. This was for Raine, who commissioned a caricature of her brother, a pilot, and her little son, who ideolizes him! She also requested that the plane her brother flies be in the background.

This was a lot of fun, but took me way longer than I had hoped! Raine however now holds the award for my most patient client! :)

Here is a fun pinup commission I got from a returning customer - Christina. She's starting a new blog, and wanted a second illustration in a peaceful zen yoga pose.
